I purchased this backpack for hiking. Although I have yet to take it out on the mountain, it seems very comfortable and it has many adjustment straps to get a good fit. I love the side pockets for water bottles. There are also zippered pockets on the hip belt which I think will be very handy. I am 5' 6" and the M/L fits well. I got the red backpack because I feel it will be highly visible in the woods for safety reasons. Fits well and I think it will be just the right size for a full day hike.

I bought this jacket for chilly nights at base camp. My only suggestion is that should give a comfort rating. I will be trying different layers to find what will work for me. This jacket packs very small, is extremely light, and oh so comfortable. I can easily use this for hiking on chilly mornings, then stuff it in my pack as it warms up.
