I don't use these as a base layer so I order up to a size large instead of the medium. Wonderfully comfortable, breathable, well made and not tight that way. Have another in the long sleeve version that I also use not as a base layer but as a top layer. I find these are my go to tops. To give you some idea of sizing I am 5'2" ,130lbs. They are a trim fit, so order accordingly. A medium would be closer to working as a base layer for me. Length is good but then again I am not tall.

Can't wait for it to warm up a bit so I can start wearing this to run outside. As is, I've worn it layered underneath and also on its own to the gym. It is very comfortable, lightweight, and dries quickly.

This has a nice stretchiness to it. Too bad it's discontinued!

A great IB shirt. Like all IB shirts, it runs small. I wear S in most shirts, and a medium is perfect as a close fitting base layer. The neck is a bit higher than in a standard tech T shirt. The wool is soft and nonitchy. It's warm when wet (I ran in 40 degrees and rain this weekend and stayed warm in it) and doesn't get hot. I can run in this shirt down to 30 degrees and it's comfortable. Great shirt! The purple is a very delicate lavender.

Perfect t-shirt layer for the shoulder seasons when cotton t's are not warm enough, but don't want the heavy duty wool turtleneck. Great on it's own or under something. Very athletic details...my husband thought the stitching on the back made me look like a spider. :-)

I received my first Dash Crewe 4-5 years ago and have worn it 3-4 times per week for winter running (live in Northern Minnesota) as well as on 5-7 day backpacking trips and on cool days throughout the year. The shirt has held up well, but was showing signs of the wear. I ordered this shirt in anticipation of my original Dash Crewe eventually wearing out. Despite being very thin the shirt holds up very well to heavy wear and is very resistant to retaining odor. I have worn it for 5 days while backpacking with no noticeable odor (can't say that for any synthetic fiber). It is quite comfortable at a range of temperatures and is the perfect base layer for sub-zero runs. Caution: I did learn in my first year to be a bit careful when peeling a soaked shirt off as I grabbed my original Dash Crewe at the back of the neck and, due to it being stuck to me with sweat, it ripped in that area. It was an easy fix, and taught me to lift from the bottom. Have had no issues since then.

I love Icebreaker! Clothing is soft, durable, dries quickly, doesn't smell (even after multiple workouts). And it's merino wool-- so it keeps you comfortable no matter what... cool when you need it and warm when you need it!

I love icebreaker, but: The fit is completely different from other icebreaker products I own - it's much much wider - basically doesnt fit at all in the arms or over the torso. In addition, the white seams, while stylish, are uncomfortable against the skin.
